Crime Scene Investigator Camp

Calling all future crime scene investigators! In this hands-on CSI camp, participants will learn to process and document mock crime scenes using real world techniques and professional investigative tools. Campers will collect and examine evidence, develop fingerprints, cast shoe impressions, analyze hair and fiber samples, and evaluate handwriting for potential forgeries. Using their newly acquired skills, they will work to identify the perpetrator and present their findings. Throughout the week, representatives from agencies such as the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the FBI, the Secret Service, and others may visit to share insights into real investigative work.
