Our custom designed courses are taught by experts, and offer a creative curriculum for youth enrichment. These unique courses foster collaboration and critical thinking. Your student will gain confidence and have a great time every step of the way.

Art Buzz- Underneath the Sea
In partnership with Art Buzz Kids, Central Piedmont's Youth Central presents Underneath the Sea. This boot camp invites aspiring artists to explore the vibrant and mysterious world that exists below the ocean's surface. Students will use paint, texture, and craft materials to bring marine life to the classroom, learning how to capture movement, light, and color from the deep blue. Through a mix of guided projects and independent creativity, campers will transform theirimaginations into ocean-inspired masterpieces that celebrate life under the sea.

The Runway: Beginner's Sewing Boot Camp
Ready to have "SEW'" much fun? Over 92 million tons of clothing end up in landfills across the country each year. Campers will explore the benefits of upcycling clothing and learn how to operate a sewing machine. They will construct unique and fashionable clothing and accessories which they can wear with pride. This hands-on course will require a level of independence and the ability to work with a variety of sewing supplies. This course will conclude with a showcase of their new garments. No previous experience required. Projects will vary from Summer Camp programs.

Our classic game design camp reimagined to include even more of what you love! Make your first video game in this one-of-a-kind class that gives you the keys to designing your first 2D platformer game. Conceptualization, level design, graphics, sounds, and simple coding are just some of the concepts that we'll explore. No prior experience is necessary, just a desire to have fun! Student projects will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. They'll get hands-on experience with professional streaming software while building confidence and practicing safe online habits. With millions of people watching esports and live streams every day, this class is the perfect first step toward turning passion into a future in gaming and digital media. Student recordings will not be broadcast publicly and are only available on a password-protected website to share with friends, family, and fellow students.
